Shannon is a member of the firm’s franchise & distribution and business practice teams. Her franchise & distribution practice focuses on representing franchisors from start-up to international expansion. She assists franchisors with a variety of issues including registration and disclosure, franchisee relations and terminations, drafting franchise and related agreements. In addition to her franchise practice, Shannon has a general corporate practice in which she counsels clients through mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance issues and negotiating major commercial contracts.
For over thirty years, Doug has served as a trial lawyer representing franchisors and suppliers in connection with disputes with their franchisees and distributors. In recent years, Doug has also devoted considerable time providing antitrust and distribution counseling, and has assisted several clients with the evaluation and acquisition of other franchising companies.
Dan is a member of the firm’s franchise & distribution, petroleum, and litigation practice teams. Dan has litigated franchise and petroleum marketing cases in state and federal courts located in Washington and throughout the country. He also has extensive experience litigating trademark disputes in court and in administrative proceedings before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition to franchise disputes, Dan has brad commercial litigation experience in a number of other areas including real estate, construction, insurance and sales.
Wayne Landsverk has been advising and representing Northwest employers in all areas of employment and traditional labor law for nearly 40 years. He has extensive experience with union organizing drives; National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) representation hearings of all types (certification, decertification, deauthorization, unit clarification); NLRB unfair labor practice hearings (both defending them and bringing them against unions); secondary boycott issues, strikes, slowdowns, sabotage, injunction, and TRO proceedings; federal and state court litigation relating to collective bargaining agreements; and appeals in the Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits, the Oregon appellate courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
